On the lighter side

Ben has learned the fine art of playing mom and dad against each other. You know, if mom says no then go ask dad. Only now he is adding a twist. Last night he asked Tim for something and Tim had said no, so then he came to me. I told Ben that I had heard daddy say no. Ben's response was "No, you didn't hear daddy. You have bugs and ants in your ears so you can't hear him". He thinks he is so smart.

Speaking of being smart....Ben is really enjoying school! He gets up every morning asking to go and as soon as he spots Ms Gina he runs over to wrap his arms around her neck, it's so sweet! It seems that all of the teachers refer to Ben as Dennis the Menace because of his hairstyle and notorious striped shirts. If they only knew how accurate that nickname is. Today when I went to pick him up I walked into the classroom and Ms. Gina was going over the days of the week. Ben was the only child paying attention and reciting the days with her. It sure makes a mama proud! Maybe I'll keep him afterall...
