Labors of love

Ben loves to write his name, so he was especially excited about filling out Valentine's Day cards for all of his classmates.


He has great penmanship! I was so proud, he was 1 of only 3 classmates that signed their own names.


The boys spoiled me rotten on Valentine's Day. I received one of those singing cards that you can record a message on with Ben saying "I love you Mommy". It is still sitting on my desk and I open it often to hear his sweet voice. They also prepared one of my favorite meals, sun dried tomato crusted chicken with risotto.

Ben loves to help in the kitchen.


The little chef was so proud of his concoction.


Although, if truth be told, I only pretended to eat it after seeing all that he had added into the bowl. It's the thought that counts right?
