project 365/36 ~ expanding my portfolio

I snapped this from my cell phone on my ride into the city. I have always loved this view of the city as it opens up before you just as you pass under the bridge right before the 75/85 connector.

I was heading into the city to photograph my first ever boudoir session. I have been desiring to branch out in my photography services and was over the moon excited when I was asked to do this. Boudoir is such a very fine line of being beautiful art and well, something you might find in smut magazines. I really wanted to challenge myself to see if I could achieve that classy, beautiful yet alluring image. I have to say, I feel pretty confident that that is exactly what I did here...



I am very excited at the prospects of this field of photography. I am now thinking of hosting a boudoir photo day complete with hair/make-up artist.

And just think how this could benefit my newborn photography in the long term ;)
