The Curious Case of Pedicures
Over the weekend I settled in to watch The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (great flick!) and since it was 3 hours long I figured it would be a good time to freshen up my toenail polish. Ben was very intrigued by my girlie ritual and decided he wanted to help. He went through my polish stash and selected a color for me. He choose Rare Ruby, a color I haven't worn in at least 10 years. It's a wonder the polish hadn't gone all gunky. As I have gotten older I tend to prefer the classic look of a french manicure as opposed to the "look at me" flashy colors. I tried to persuade him, but he argued that I would look beautiful with the red. He won. As if that wasn't enough, he insisted on applying the polish his self.
What do you think?
He was so proud! I didn't have the heart to undo his handy work. I'm still walking around with half painted "look at me now" toenails. Mother love...there's nothing we won't sacrifice to make our children happy.
2 thanks for stopping by, i love comments!:
LOL That is the cutest! Red suits those cute little toes ;)
I think you look totally marvelous! Your big toes have sort of a reverse French Manicure in red...
