project 365/5 ~ a frosty morning

It was a frosty morning for Ben's first day back to school in nearly 4 weeks between snow days, sick days, and holidays. While I enjoy my children immensely, I also enjoy the chance to miss them a bit while relishing contemplating in the silence that is offered in their absence. I am full denial mode right now at the weather report's threat of more snow coming our way by Friday morning, for now I will savor the moment while Alex is napping.
