project 365/45 ~ my valentines

Valentine's Day. The Hallmark holiday where the price of flowers quadruple and everyone feels obligated to purchase in order to express their love. Bleh.

Okay, so I may have caved and bought a few goodies for my young cutie cupids. But in all fairness I only bought them each a $1 box of 'valentines' chocolates. The goody bag was filled with non traditional stuff like a matchbox car, band aids, bubble gum, and goldfish crackers. And we did go out to eat, but it was more of a convenience late lunch/early dinner thing since we were shuffling cars around to the mechanic.

Still, the best part was when Ben confirmed that I remain to be his favorite girl :)
