Making merry
My dad sent the boys a baking set with 100 different cookie cutters since they so love to help me bake. Although I'm not sure how licking the bowl and spoons is actually helping, but that's not the point. It came with a recipe for dough ornaments so we whipped up a batch and painted them proper.
Ben had great fun!
We tried to involve Alex too...
but really he was mostly interested in eating the paint and ornaments.

After the 2 tons of paint dried we blinged them up a bit.
We stopped on the way home from school yesterday to pick up a small tree to go on the boys' dresser and hung up the ornaments.
I'm starting to get real excited for Christmas! We will go shopping later this week and pull out more decorations. Next week will be a visit to the jolly ole fat man himself. It will be interesting to see how Alex handles it. I already know what Ben's reaction will be....he'll be so star struck he'll just stare and won't say a word.

Fun fun fun!!! We are going to get a tree sometime at the end of the week! Lily has been begging to see Santa so we will be doing that for the first time :) LOVE that little tree! The ornaments came out perfect :)
